Task 4 Diorama based on emotions, light and colour

Diorama means a model representing a scene with three-dimensional figures, either in miniature or as a large-scale museum exhibit. (oxforddictionaries.com, 2018)

Story: A girl is pulling away heart from a guy in heaven which is far away. This diorama describes
         love emotions, calmness and longing for love that is far away. Therefore, colours like blue,
         pink and purple are mainly used in this diorama. The background has mountains, night sky,
         stars. This diorama will be given star shapes hanging from the roof of the box. It also has
         clouds and purple light to give romantic look.

Materials: Box (12X12 inch), printouts images, glue, cutter, foamboard, strings, glitters, superglue, colourful small wood stick, colour spray paint, LED light

3.2 Specifications

Size/ material: Gesso primed Canvas (60x 90cm), brush, acrylic paint, poster colour

4.0 Final Outcome

Projection of typography on canvas painting (Project mapping) was done later.

Font used are Toxia, AR Christy, Guilttrip, Government Torment, Sound of silence, Royal pain, Betrayal, Abuse, Niagara solid, Demon Killer, Snap ITC, Sitka. A tear was let to flow from the eye of the victim in the artwork.

4.1 Conclusion

As a conclusion, the designer learned to do research and find current issues, and convert it into visual form by applying elements and principles of design. The designer was able to come up with ideas and created canvas and typography projection on canvas to describe about victim’s silence on sexual harassment.
