Installation Art and Artists

Installation art is art that is in large scale, uses mix media constructions, designed for a particular place for temporary time. It can occupy a whole gallery or room space where the spectators walk around or engage to view it. (Tate, 2017).  Installation is a part of conceptual and contemporary art. The arrangement of materials and space comprises the artwork and thus it is called installation art. An installation may involve different senses like smell, touch, sight, sound and etc. It is 3-dimensional. An installation can be gallery based, electronic based, or computer based. (Encyclopedia of arts, 2017)
