Designers work in many
fields such as fashion, architecture, graphic and many more and the
contribution from designers are highly welcomed. The real work of a designer
involves process that brings greatest possible outcomes to solve an existing
problem. Adding artistic or aesthetic value is a part of the development
process of designer but this differs from the work of artist who freely express
themselves. Designer must be capable of receiving important information from
specialist like engineer and decide the designing process.(Brandon,K, 2015)
Designer’s job is related
to illustration and it helps to deliver the ideas in visual form rather than words
which can face difficulties to interpret something. By doing visually, anyone
can understand the design precisely and work on it. This improves communication
process. Designer today must be able to see a big picture or problem and
analyse the information so that the outcome will not become a burden to society
or creating more waste rather actually solving a problem. For example, water
bottle is designed to bring the water every day and quench the thirst. But, it
is also non-biodegradable and harmful to nature. The designer should solve an
existing problem without creating another problem. (Brandon,K, 2015)
“We have seen an increase
in the need for all kind of designer and substantial surge in compensation for
both junior and senior level design talent”. (Edward Hooper, Senior Executive
Recruiter, New York)
The designer’s job is to
find the right people with right information through research or from experts.
Then actual work of design. The last part is, giving information from finished
product to the right people. Creativity is expected in designer’s work in
producing excellent designs. Creative work is on the rise and risks are being
taken by designers to give life to innovation. The designer also must be up to
date to current world trend and continually sharpening the insights to get
fresh ideas. (Brandon,K, 2015)
